Owned and run by furrier Heiðar Sigurðsson and his wife Kristín Birgisdóttir, Feldur Workshop focuses on quality and strives to make classic jet modern accessories that last a lifetime.

Heiðar Sigurðson studied to be a furrier in Sweden and started working on fur alterations and making his garments after graduating in 1983. Heiðar and Kristín felt that the availability of fur products was too limited and thus got inspired to start designing and producing their clothing and accessories. Their products draw inspiration from Iceland’s extreme weather, and exciting nature were wool, and fur have kept the cold northern winds out for centuries.
