Kópavogur swimming pool is one of the most popular swimming pools in Iceland and is among the largest in the country.  In 2008 it was for the most part renewed.  Now there are three swimming pools in addition to a water chute pool.  One Olympic-size outdoor pool and 25 and 10 meters long indoor pools.  There is a comfortable and spacious sauna.  There are a total of some seven hot tubs, including a large massage tub and a paddle tub for the kids.  There are three water slides which are 150 meters in total.  A fitness centre is located in the main building.

Kópavogur thermal pool is one of the largest aquatic centres in Iceland.  It has a 50m outdoor pool, two indoor pools, seven “hot pots”, a steam bath and three water slides.
