The restaurant became known for Halldorsson's famous recipe for what has been known “world’s greatest lobster soup” attracting customers from all over the world. The Sea Baron is located in a green-painted, old fisherman’s hut by Reykjavik’s Old Harbor, which is now a popular restaurant area. The Menu gives you a choice of fresh seafood barbeques on skewers, but the famous lobster soup is always on the Menu. Kjartan Halldorsson, the founder of The Sea Baron, was a fisherman in Reykjavik during the 1950s.
