Viðey Island is situated just off the coast of Reykjavík. In addition to beautiful natural surroundings, ancient ruins, and rich historical background, you can also see the “Imagine Peace Tower” by Yoko Ono and the Milestones project by Richard Serra. The island is also the nesting ground for over 30 species of birds. 

Summer: Daily ferries from Old Harbor, Ægisgarður harbour, and Skarfabakki harbour.
Winter: Ferries only on Saturdays and Sunday from Skarfabakki.

October 1 - May 14. The ferry only on weekends starting at 13:15. The last ferry from Viðey is at 16:30. Further information on http://elding.is/videy-ferry

SUMMER
Daily from May 15 - Sept 30. Beginning at 10:15 (am) going to Viðey. The last sailing from Viðey is at 18:30 (6:30 pm).
